Hard drive problems continue

We published a post last week about possible problems due to the floods in Thailand with Hard drives, if you havent read it already and would like to know more, please click here.

Further to this post, we have heard that as the floods continue, buisness must prepare for a servere shortage of Hard Disk Drives (HDD), impacting the entire global ICT supply chain. The flood hit areas are responsible for producing around 70% of the worlds HDD demand and the leading factories are set to be out of action for some time.
Companies should prepare for shortages and prices increases of up to 25%....
