Further to this post, we have heard that as the floods continue, buisness must prepare for a servere shortage of Hard Disk Drives (HDD), impacting the entire global ICT supply chain. The flood hit areas are responsible for producing around 70% of the worlds HDD demand and the leading factories are set to be out of action for some time.
Companies should prepare for shortages and prices increases of up to 25%....
