Further to this post, we have heard that as the floods continue, buisness must prepare for a servere shortage of Hard Disk Drives (HDD), impacting the entire global ICT supply chain. The flood hit areas are responsible for producing around 70% of the worlds HDD demand and the leading factories are set to be out of action for some time.
Companies should prepare for shortages and prices increases of up to 25%....

Possible hard drive problems with all manufactures???
With the current floods hitting the far east, the main supplier of hard drives western digital, seem to be under several feet of water.
